I'm Marta, a London based photographer born in Angola and raised across 4 countries.

My love for photography arose from my desire to “freeze time” as the constant relocation often left me nostalgic. After years of documenting my personal life, I discovered street photography and became obsessed with capturing the magic of fleeting everyday moments as a fly on the wall. 

Growing up in different cities heavily influenced my photography, my work is adaptive just like my story, and my sole objective is to establish authentic connections that translate from subject to lens.
